* Do you read e-Books?
* If so, how? On your computer, or a PDA?
* Or are you a paper purist? Why?

I don't read e-Books, although I did participate for a while in the Project Gutenberg proofreading project.
I am intrigued by the Sony bookreader, but only because it looks like the notepads they used on Star Trek. I think for now I'm a paper purist - can't beat it for portability, no batteries, no software. I love the smell and feel of books, and to see them all lined up on my shelf or piled by my bed.

Haha Star Trek is the best reason to use anything! I love paper too, you do get some funny looks in bookshops sniffing books though...

No batteries and software! Very big pluses! LOL I like the Sony bookreaders too. They sure are neat looking and seem like they would be convenient. Just not right now. And like you, I prefer the paper books these days.

Although I love the idea of having a Star Trek gadget, I cannot see myself transferring to e-reading! I love paper too much.

Yes, e-books aren't great for decorating a shelf!

I liked the phrase you used in your comment to my answer--the "physical presence of books." I couldn't agree more. Reading the comments to my answer and the answers of other people has caused me to think about the question some more, and I've written a slightly longer post on my blog about it. It's here if your interested in reading it:

Looking forward to reading more of your BTT answers!
