Movie: Juno
I was prepared to be disappointed in this, after all of the hype around this movie, but I found it enjoyable. I think they tried too hard in parts to be "real," but overall it was refreshingly unsentimental and mostly natural. Ellen Page was excellent in the title role, and I'm always glad to see Allison Janney (as the stepmother) working. She was so great on The West Wing!

I really liked this film too. I am hoping (fingers crossed!) that hubby and I can go see the musical 9 to 5 this coming fall. Allison Janney is supposed to be among the cast. That's enough to get my husband interested too. LOL
i assumed Juno was directed by the same guy that directed Knocked Up, because it's about unexpected pregnancy and Michael Cera stars as Juno's boyfriend, but alas this was not the case.
